This mod aims to fix that by installing a massive (to put it mildly) forest smack dab in the middle of the open area. The area near Whiterun is essentially a large open valley with practically no tree cover to speak of, and thats a missed opportunity. Also outside by the stables where the Kajhits hangout trees pop in. Entire patches of woods pop in out of no where when coming from Riverwood to Whiterun. Others fall way too short, and TGFOW is very much over the top - it really does seem like a real forest, which I appreciate. Install The Great Forest of Whiterun Hold, Install the Select Player Home (or other mod) Install the (stackable) Patch for any additional homes or mods. Who else here uses this gorgeous mod? From the moment I loaded it (paired with Elysium Estate) I fell in love. This forests the tundra of Whiterun Hold, making it a lore-friendly, dense forest the likes of Falkreath. There is nothing quite like The Great Forest of Whiterun Hold.
