

The program will feature simultaneous performances in different parts of the building by Bay Area composers, musicians, sound artists, and other performers presenting a variety of acoustic and electronic music, installations, and interactive events the audience is free to move throughout the building during the performances.The artists, many of whom are well-known to Bay Area audiences, to be featured at this event in 2022 include Kitka, Sarah Cahill, Pamela Z, Beth Custer & Will Bernard, Dylan Mattingly, The Living Earth Show with Guillermo Galindo, Carl Stone, John Benson, Paul Dresher & Joel Davel, Randy Porter, Orchestra Nostalgico, Dan Plonsey & Friends, Robert Nance, Sruti Sarathy, Duo B, Theresa Wong, Gino Robair & Tim Perkis, David Gibbons, Michelle Moeller, Anne Hege, The Mycos Project with Kate Stenberg & Irene Sazer, Karen Stackpole, Sidney Chen, Edward Schocker, and others. Working closely with the team at Vital Events and White Rabbit Group, I took their themes for a small show in 2016 and expanded the art.

There will be both fewer audience goers, and fewer performers spaced throughout the building in the large, more ventilated spaces. Proof of vaccination and masks will be required for entry. In terms of daylight, this day is 5 hours, 14 minutes longer. Ticket sales will be capped at 2000 – less than half the previous concert in 2019. The June solstice (summer solstice) in San Francisco is at 2:13 am on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
